Dr. Michael DeLuca, a cardiologist, has spent the last 13 years practicing medicine in El Paso. He grew up in Kingwood, Texas and went to college at North Texas State University. He spent his first two years of medical school in Budapest, Hungary and spent two years of medical school in London, England, followed by four years of internal medicine training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. DeLuca also spent four years of interventional cardiology training at Scott and White hospital in Temple Texas.

DeLuca specializes in interventional cardiology, which involves opening up blood vessels in any part of the body as well as placing pacemakers and loop recorders. He also provides multiple forms of stress testing and echocardiography. After several years in his own private practice, Dr. DeLuca joined El Paso Cardiology Associates in January of this year. The group includes Dr. David Dobrin, Dr. Mike Gutierrez, Dr. Vipool Patel and Dr. Laiq Raja. Having spent the last seven years covering calls for the cardiology associates group, he felt it was in his best interest to join them now and with the many advances in cardiology he can better treat his patients.

DeLuca is married and has three children, two of whom are following in his footsteps and are currently in medical school in Budapest, Hungary, and his youngest child attends high school in El Paso.
